ST. PAUL, MN — Representative Ron Kresha, R-Little Falls, introduced House File 2672 on Monday, the first day of the 2022 session. The bill provides more than $10 million for the Minnesota Military Museum at Camp Ripley.
“Our military members and their families gave their all for our freedoms. I value our military and veterans and their contributions. This museum is one way we can honor their service and show our appreciation as civilians,” Kresha said.
The Minnesota Military Museum will be moved outside the Camp Ripley gates to be more accessible for visitors. Located right on the 371 corridor, it will be a economic driver for the Little Falls area and a favorite stop for families traveling.
The bill is co-sponsored by Representative Poston, Erickson, Ecklund, Dettmer and Lueck and was referred to the Capital Investment Committee, where it awaits its first hearing. More information on the bill can be found here.
